The Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 104 that God’s Spirit is continually at work in Creation, renewing the face of the Earth. No one knows more about stewarding the Earth than farmers and rural folks who connect with the land on a daily basis. It’s all about relationships – with the soil, one another, and the millions of people who depend on farmers and ranchers for their daily bread.
Because of your unique perspective on Creation and caring for God’s Earth, we want to learn from you. Bishop Susan Candea and friend, Noni Strand, will be coming to listen to your perspectives. We also want to learn about ways to support rural congregations and communities in our efforts to care for Creation. So, we will gather around tables for conversation to explore your questions.
